About Us
Ka-Gumbi Courier and Freight (KGCF) is a registered transportation company that offers Courier, Freight and Transport Logistic services at a National and International scale. The company is a level 1- 100% Black owned business and has been operating for 12 years. The company is headquartered in Sunninghill Gauteng with a national and international network in more than 200 countries, contribute to making KGCF a major player in the courier and transport logistics. Over the last 12 years KGCF has had the opportunity to work across different sectors, servicing a variety of different organisations.
The caliber of clients that we have worked with over the years is testament to our ability to provide and deliver a quality service. Advisory Services for the Taxi Industry Express Delivery Project KGCF is working on a 3-year contract as an advisor on a project related to Mzansi’s Taxi industry. Our role as an advisor is to provide expertise on the best way to establish a courier business that formalises the way the taxi industry currently sends parcels back and forth. Corporate Social Investment- The People Shall Share! In playing our part in growing our economy, empowering South Africans by creating jobs and business opportunities, KGCF has created and is running the People Shall Share (PSS) initiative.
This initiative enables previously advantaged people who are unemployed and living extremely below the poverty line to join the courier business. This leads to them owning businesses and assets such as trucks and delivery vans, employing others, and a chance to empower loved ones and community members. Partnering with a BBB-EE Consulting Firm We were recently given an opportunity by Inyosi Empowerment to distribute Christmas Gifts to 533 SME’s and other stakeholders nationwide in a space of 2 weeks. We are doing this for a second consecutive year, having successfully delivered the services required in 2019, paving the way for another a contract.
Special Projects In the past KGCF assisted organising committees with transport logistics solutions in preparing for and delivering on events such as, The ICC Cricket World Cup-2009, FIFA World Cup-2010, and SAMTA and Metro FM Awards. Past experiences also include KGCF distributing Natis systems and ITC equipment, from 2012 to 2017, to all licensing departments around the country on behalf of Tasima (Pty) Ltd. Within the same timeframe and from 2014 -2017, we provided the National Home Builders Regulator Council with international distribution, storage, and packaging. As a company that is still growing, we aim to use the expertise and experience built over the years to contribute to making KGCF a major player in the courier and transport logistics.
